Valentines

Hello
Another week has flown by, and it's time for the next challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz. This time we would like to see your 'Valentine/Love' themed, male orientated cards.
I must confess, that my card is cased from one made by the lovely Linda Parker, as I always struggle doing love cards that don't look too girlie.
The card has been made using the new amazing die from Stampin Up - Bloomin' Hearts, and the stamp set and matching punch - Grateful Bunch. I know I'm biased, but I do love the quality of the Stampin Up products. The flowers and sentiment have been heat embossed.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Crafty Boots - love is in the air
Crafty Cardmakers - love/Valentines
Get Creative - hearts
Incy Wincy - love
The Paper Girls - Valentines/love
Crafter's Cafe - monochrome
Crafting Musketeers - monochrome
Paper Creators Crafts - it must be love
Amusing - hearts
One Stitch At A Time - love is in the air
A Gem Of A Challenge - love is in the air
Challenge Up Your Life - no designer paper
My Time To Craft - love is all around
Brown Sugar - Valentine/love
Fussy and Fancy - monochrome
and
Aud Sentiments - use a love sentiment
Many thanks for stopping by, and I'll be back soon with some more cards.

Spiffing

Hello
Another week has whizzed by, and it's time once again for a new challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz. This week we would like to see your cards with 'Sparkle or Shine'. You can use mirri card, embossing powders, gilding flakes, gilding waxes, glitter or anything else you can think of to add some sparkle or shine.
For my card I have used a Woodware stamp, which I have heat embossed onto black card with silver powder. This has been matted onto silver mirri card. The background has been embossed with a Darice folder, and then this has been highlighted with some silver gilding wax, before being matted on to some more mirri card. The whole card was finished with the addition of some lovely shiny brads.
I hope you will hop on over to the main blog and join in the fun.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Creative Card Crew - anything goes
Retarte - anything goes
