Going Dotty

Afternoon all, I hope you are enjoying your weekend.
Well its wet and drizzly here, so I have decided that I'd postpone doing the boot sale I was going to do tomorrow, until next week, so I made a card instead of sorting out.

Beary Wishes

Afternoon all.
Gosh, isn't card making time harder to find with the children on holiday, its a stream of "Mum, I'm hungry", "Mum, I'm thirsty", "Mum, he won't let me have a go" ...........
Anyhow, this card has only taken 3 days, so I might get another done by the weekend, you never know.
It's another LOTV image today, coloured with my beloved Promarkers. The papers are scraps from my stash, as I'm trying to be good and use bits up rather than keep cutting into new sheets. The flowers are from the Papermania Capsules range.

Candle

This is a record for me lately - three cards in one day, I don't know what's come over me, but I think I am going to have to rename my class - LOTV does Christmas in July.
This image is one of their new releases, and is as adorable as all their other stamps. She has been coloured with Promarkers and then the fur round her hood and the pom poms on her scarf have been covered with flock, to make them furry. Finally, I added some glamour dust to the ground to make it more snowy.
I'd like to enter her in;
and
Bah! Humbug! - A Christmas Scene
I think I'm going to take kids to the cinema now to see Toy Story 3, see you soon.
Sharon xx

Angelic

Christmas card number two.
Can you tell I'm preparing for my Tuesday evening class - Lets Start Christmas Early.
Once again I'm using a LOTV stamp - I am addicted to them, as much as I am to my Promarkers. The embossed ornaments border is one of the new Papermania embossing folders and the backing papers are from an old Dovecraft pack.
I'm entering this card in;
The Cuttlebug Spot - Christmas in July
Flutter By Wednesday - Christmas in July
Create 4 Fun - use flowers on your project
ABC Christmas - O is for Ornaments
and
Our Creative Corner - red, green, black and white
Only one more to come up with, then I've just got to make the kits.
Enjoy the rest of your day xxx

Chocolate Tilda

Morning All.
Well it's the first day of the holidays for big son, but I had a bit of a fight with small son, as he still had to go to school today, the fact he finishes this afternoon didn't matter. Oh well, hopefully we can all have a lie in tomorrow - but I expect the kids will be up at the crack of dawn if we don't have to be anywhere.
Anyway, I have gone chocolate and cream colours today with my Tilda card. The borders have been cut with a Martha Stewart punch and the backing card was already embossed with a lovely swirly pattern. The image was coloured with Promarkers and the sentiment is by Craftwork Cards.
I'd like to enter it in;
Totally Tilda - chocolate Tilda
Frosted Designs - lets see those border punches
The Creative Cottage - touchy feely
and
Craft Creations - happy and sweet

Summer Time

Evening All.
Quick medical update, after an exciting day at the hospital, where I've had lung capacity tests, X rays, blood tests and been generally prodded and poked. The general conclusion seemed to be that the sarcoidosis is improving slowly, but the cough etc is something different totally, so I have now been put on a course of pills to try and sort it. Hopefully, this means things are on the up - fingers crossed.
Anyhow enough grumping, and on to the card - which has been a work in progress for a few days. The digi stamp is called Summer Shades, by Stitchy Stamps and is available from Stitchy Bear Stamps. The image reminded me of my old neighbours little girl, who is 11 going on 20 something.

Garden Shed

Evening all.
I wasn't going to make a card today as I was really tired and not feeling top banana, and then I have spent the morning filing my tax return - which I desperately wanted to get done before the kids break up from school.

I would like to enter it in;

and

Monkey Christmas

From glorious sunshine to flooding, what is the weather up to. I'm sure it was just because big boy was on a school trip to the zoo, so only came back slightly soggy. Then small son was worried that the fish would drown as the pond was getting deeper.
Oh well, after being a good girl and trying to get my books up to date ready to do the dreaded tax return I thought I'd make a card. It turned out to be Christmas themed as with water overflowing from the gutters, the summer challenges didn't seem to inspire me.
The stamp is one I have had for a long time, and is by Penny Black. The paper was from an old Dovecraft pack, and the embellishments were ones from my Christmas stash.

New Home

Afternoon all.
It's almost tooooo hot to craft lol.
The decoupage on this new home card was far more tricky and fiddly than I thought it would be,
or it may just have been my glasses huffing up in the heat causing the problems. The background was made by embossing a piece of white card, and then rubbing it with various coloured Cats Eye Chalks until I achieved the right colour.
I'd like to enter it in a couple of challenges;
Creative Inspirations - on the move (new home)
and

Hello Blogland.
I've had a lovely day playing today. My friends all brought a stamp, and we made cards using them - so no pre-prepared kits, it was fly by the seat of your pants time - great fun, plus good exercise for the brain. By the way Eirwen - I've eaten my sandwich :0)
