Lewis On Bike

Afternoon All.
Well the weathers brightened up a bit, so I done a boot sale this morning to get rid of some of the over whelming amount of stuff that lives at our house. I must admit I am quite pleased with the takings, now I just have to resist spending it on new crafting goodies - I give it about an hour.
Anyhow, today see's the launch of a new challenge at Here Come The Boys, and this time round we would like to see your Travel inspired creations. I am lucky enough to be hosting the challenge, which means I get to choose my favourite to win the fab prize shown below, from my shop - Ewe 2 Can Craft. Why not hop on over to the main blog, and check out the fab DT cards for some inspiration.
I have used a Praire Fairy image for my card - I just loved his cheeky little face. The sentiment is one of my friend Lynnes available at Crafts 4 You, and the charm is one from my shop.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Digi's With Attitude - anything goes
Paper Cutz - anything goes
Totally Papercrafts - one for the boys
Craft Us Crazy - anything goes

and

Thanks for looking, and see you again soon

Surfing Bear

Afternoon Everyone.
Well what a busy day it is today, a class this morning (actually all day really :o) ), eldest at home, small one at school, then he's off to a party straight after school, round to Mums for a cup of tea and to check Dad is behaving himself after his knee op, cook dinner, then another class tonight. I'm exhausted just typing it all. Well it started OK, until the eldest decided to make some cakes whilst I was teaching, all was going well until he caught both wrists on the shelf whilst trying to take cakes out of the bottom of the oven, so I spent an hour running between rooms, keeping ladies going with their cards, and ensuring eldest kept wrists under running cold water whilst I rescued cakes from oven - which despite all the drama were very tasty. Then had to explain to Mum what had happened later when we went for a cup of tea, as to why Andrew had burnt wrists - it was like dealing with the health and safety excutive. Anyway back home now, sorting out for next class, and thinking fish and chip shop sounds a good option for tea.
UPDATE - duly had fish and chips for tea. Youngest arrived home an hour later than expected from the party.But on the way home he managed to be sick all over the back of someone elses car, and is not feeling very sorry for himself. Sure it had nothing to do with overheating at the play centre, stuffing hamburgers, chips and ice cream, then being squashed in a car on the way home. If this is the start of a six week school holiday, I'm not sure I can cope.
Anyhow the reason for this post is actually to introduce the next challenge at Do It With Digi's, which this time round has the theme 'Summer Fun', and what could be better than a surfing holiday. We are sponsored by the fantastic Di at DI'S DIGI DOWNLOADS. Di is very generously offering the winner of this challenge 5 digi images of their choice. So why not pop on over and join in the fun.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Anything Goes - more than one fold
Crazy Amigo - holiday/vacation
Tuesday Throwdown - something metallic (charms)
Lexi's Creations - at the beach
Totally Gorjuss - all about boys
and
Thanks for looking, and hopefully I'll be back soon.
