Ship Ahoy

Morning All.
Well it's a lovely sunny morning here in Essex, and just for a change in my life I'm waiting in for a plumber again - why oh why did I ever think it was a good idea to change the bathroom in our house lol.
Anyhow, on a better note, it is time for the start of a new challenge over at Here Come The Boys - and this time we would like to see your male orientated 'Vintage' creations (gosh, this one was so out my comfort zone, but hey it was quite fun once I started). We have a brilliant Sponsors prize this time from the 'Digi Doodle Shop' who are giving a $10 Gift certificate to our DT Winner.
I have used a set of stamps from Kanban for my creation,coloured with ProMarkers, distressed with good old Tim Holtz inks and added some good old garden twine for rope to add to the dimension. I hope you like the results.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Allsorts - free and easy February
Bloggers - by the seashore
Hotshot Crafts - one for the boys
Crafts and Me - distressed

Love Is In The Air

Morning All.
Hope you are all keeping toasty and wrm in this cold weather. We still have loads of snow where I am in Essex, but where it started to thaw everything has gone icey - it's horrid on the pavements, so it will be a slow slide to and from school today.
Oh well, todays card will show you some love to wam you all up. I made it for the new challenge at Fab 'n' Funky where this time round we would like to see your 'Love Is In The Air..... ' creations.
I thought I'd do something different than stamping for a change, so I have punched a whole load of hearts out of scraps of paper, and just bent them gently in half before attaching them to the mount with a touch of PVA down the fold line to give a 3D effect. I hope you likeee.
I would like to enter my challenges;
Ladybug Crafts ink - loves me, loves me not
Partytime Tuesday - Valentines
Shopping Our Stash - hearts, Valentines and/or lace
Top Tip Tuesday - Valentines
Try It On Tuesdys - card for a true love
Tuesday Throwdown - be my Valentine

Just Knitted

Morning All.
Well, regardless of all the snow still around and the freezing fog, both children have made it to school - hurray (from me), boo (from the kids). But I have cancelled tomorrow nights class, as I don't fancy my lovely ladies being out and about in dark icy conditions, so sorry ladies, and I'll see you in a fortnight.
Todays creation is something very different than my normal things - it is a little knitted teddy bear, that I made for my son, and it is being posted as today sees the launch of an 'Anything But A Card' challenge at The Cutie Pie blog. We have as usual two fantastic prizes up for grabs, s why not hop on over and join in.
I would like to enter this little fellow in the following challenges;
Fairy Fun Fridays - anything but a card
Craft Us Crazy - anything goes
and
Party Time Tuesday - anything goes
Thanks for looking, and I'll be back again soon.

Bicycle Race

Morning All.
Well where did all this snow come from overnight, nothing when I went to bed and a good 6inch this morning - it does look very pretty though, as long as I can stay indoors. Must admit, I'm dreading the school run tomorrow.

Anyhow, today sees the start of a new challenge at Here Come The Boys, where we would like to see your creations relating to your favourite songs. I decided to choose Queen and Bicycle Race for mine - plus I thought it was about time Edwin made an appearance. The prize for the winner this time, is a set of 5 'Skin Tones Promarkers' and 4 re-usable templates, so why not come on over and join in the fun. With all this snow about, it must be better to stay in the warm and do some crafting - well that's my excuse anyhow.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Allsorts - free and easy february
Fussy and Fancy - polka dots
Crafty Ribbons - for men or boys
Craft Us Crazy - anything goes
Dude Time Doodles - masculine
I Love ProMarkers - photo inspiration

and
Just Magnolia - anything goes

Hugs

Afternoon All.
Well what a lovely sunny day it is here in Essex, but boy oh boy it's freezing and the wind could chop your legs off.
Before I tell you about todays card, I must apologise about the poor photo, but yeserday it was just so grey that I had real trouble with the picture.
The card is ready for the new challenge over at Fab 'n' Funky, where this time round we would like you to create something using a digi image - a nice easy challenge :o)
I have used a Sugar Nellie digi on my card, with Nitwit backing papers. The image is coloured with ProMarkers as usual, and because I couldn't find my glue dots, I've actually sewn all the buttons on - I must be mad.
Anyhow, I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
My Time To Craft - A is for adorable
Partytime Tuesdays - anything goes
The Pink Elephant - 1 image, 2 DP and 3 buttons
and
Crazy 4 Challenges - layer it on
Thanks for looking, and I'll be back again soon.
