Button Bling

Hello Again

Well, I've gone all blingy today for the latest challenge over at Cardz 4 Galz. This fortnight we would like to see your female orientated cards featuring 'A Button or Two', which was my choice.

I have used a Stampin' Up set - flower shop with the matching punch, to create my flowers, simply stamped in Archival Black then finished with a crystal flower shaped button sewn into the middle of each one. The card was completed with the addition of a simple sentiment. The photo really does not show the card at its best, as in real life it is sooooo sparkly.

A Partridge In A Pear Tree

Hello All

Today's creation is for a double whammy, it is for my Christmas In April class this week, and also for the new challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz - where we wood like to see your 'Wood In Design' male themed cards.

I have used a retired Stampin' Up stamp for my card, coloured with ProMarkers. I have decoupaged up the partridge to add some dimension, and I've also used a clear Wink Of Stella pen to add some sparkle to the pears.

Exam Success

Hello Everyone

It's time once again for the next challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz - I love this blog - and this time we would like to see your 'Books or Book Paper', male orientated creations.

I have gone a bit Tim Holtz mad on my card, using both his Crazy Bird stamp and blue print book pile.The images have been coloured with ProMarkers, and the overall design has been kept really simple with just a single black mat to finish the card off. I thought this would be suitable either for exams good luck/results or a birthday - what do you think?

Ballerina Bliss

Hello All

It's time once again for the next challenge over at Cardz 4 Galz, and this time round we would like you to use an embossing folder on your entries.

I have used a Darice folder to create the border around Ballerina Tilda. I then used a distress ink to tint the edges, and highlight the embossing. Tilda, herself, has been coloured with ProMarkers. I have added some flowers and gems to the card before finishing off by colouring over her dress, tiara and the embossed pattern with a Wink Of Stella pen to add a bit of sparkle.

A Wee Tipple

Hello All

Today sees the start of another new challenge at Cardz For Guyz, and this time round we would like to see you're male orientated 'Food and Drink' cards.

I have done something completely different for a change, and have hand stitched this card, which was very relaxing for a change. It is a Sparkle Stitch design, that I have just matted onto a card and added a sentiment.

Thanks for popping by. This card is for the latest challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz this week, and this time round we would like you to use just 'Black and White'.

My card has been created with a single stamp from IndigoBlu. I have stamped it once, then stamped the golfer again and decoupaged it on to the original. This has then been matted and layered onto black,then onto another white layer with a die cut Tim Holtz diamond pattern to represent the jumper pattern, before a final black layer before being mounted on the card blank.

I adore the definition element of this stamp, it makes me chuckle every time I look at it.
