You're A Hoot

Hello
Todays card is for the latest challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz,This week we would like youto make a 'Shaker card'.
I have used a Joanna Sheen Hoot stamp for the image on my card, which was stamped onto white card, coloured with ProMarkers and cut out. The background was made using a punch to cut the moon from the navy card. On the reverse of the panel I adhered a piece of acetate over the aperture. The aperture was then lined with a 3mm thick foam tape. A few sequin stars were then added, before the aperture was sealed with a piece of yellow card. The image was then stuck over the front of the moon and the card was completed with a heat embossed sentiment and the addition of a few more stars.
I hope you like my creation.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to see you again soon.

Poppy Passion

Hello All
It's time once again for another new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz, and this time round we would like to see your 'No Patterned Papers', female themed cards.
I have used an old Stampin' Up image for my card, that I have masked to use parts of the stamp, rather than the whole. It has been simply coloured with ProMarkers, before being matted with a coordinating red layer, then mounted onto a black card base.I have also used a scallop tag punch to create the card closure.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you come back really soon.

Dogs Have Owners

Hello Again,
It's time once again for a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz, and this week we would like to see your 'Make Us Smile' creations.
My card used a combination of stamps. The background is watercolor wash from Stampin' Up, the cat is one of Tim Holtz crazy cats, and the sentiment is from a stamp in my stash. The cat has been layered over the background, and his hat and tie are from the Crazy Bird set, all of which have been coloured with Promarkers.
I hope my card makes you chuckle, and pops a smile on your face.

On The Wild Side

Hi All
Well another week has whizzed by, and once again it is time for a new challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz. This week we would like to see your 'In The Country' themed cards.
I have used 2 Stampin' Up sets to create my card - The Wilderness Awaits and Lovely As A Tree.
First, I stamped the stag and coloured it with ProMarkers. This was then masked, before stamping the background trees using both first and second impressions. I then cut a circle mask, that I used to cover over part of the image to create the moon, before using distress inks to tint the sky. The image was simply mounted then adhered to a Kraft card blank and it was finished with the addition of a sentiment.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Retarte - anything goes
Crafting From The Heart - anything goes
Critters and Creatures - anything goes
Use Your Stuff - animals
Penny Black and More - anything goes with a stamp
Artistic Stamper - all things bright and beautiful
Paper Creator - just for men
Alphabet Challenge - I is for ink it up
and
Dragons Lair - it's a zoo out there
Thank you so much for stopping by, and I hope you like what you've seen.
I'll be back soon with some more creations.
