You're A Hoot

Hello
Todays card is for the latest challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz,This week we would like youto make a 'Shaker card'.
I have used a Joanna Sheen Hoot stamp for the image on my card, which was stamped onto white card, coloured with ProMarkers and cut out. The background was made using a punch to cut the moon from the navy card. On the reverse of the panel I adhered a piece of acetate over the aperture. The aperture was then lined with a 3mm thick foam tape. A few sequin stars were then added, before the aperture was sealed with a piece of yellow card. The image was then stuck over the front of the moon and the card was completed with a heat embossed sentiment and the addition of a few more stars.
I hope you like my creation.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope to see you again soon.

Hello All
It's time once again for another new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz,and this time round we would like to see your 'No Patterned Papers', female themed cards.
I have used an old Stampin' Up image for my card, that I have masked to use parts of the stamp, rather than the whole. It has been simply coloured with ProMarkers, before being matted with a coordinating red layer, then mounted onto a black card base.I have also used a scallop tag punch to create the card closure.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you come back really soon.

On The Wild Side

Hi All
Well another week has whizzed by, and once again it is time for a new challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz. This week we would like to see your 'In The Country' themed cards.
I have used 2 Stampin' Up sets to create my card - The Wilderness Awaits and Lovely As A Tree.
First, I stamped the stag and coloured it with ProMarkers. This was then masked, before stamping the background trees using both first and second impressions. I then cut a circle mask, that I used to cover over part of the image to create the moon, before using distress inks to tint the sky. The image was simply mounted then adhered to a Kraft card blank and it was finished with the addition of a sentiment.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Retarte - anything goes
Crafting From The Heart - anything goes

CAS

Hello Everyone
It's time for a new challenge over at Cardz 4 Guyz, and this week I have chosen the theme. My choice was 'Clean and Simple'.
I love this style of card, but find it quite hard not to do multiple mats and layers which is my instinct.
I have used a Tim Holtz robot blueprint stamp for my card, with a type writer style sentiment from an old Stampin' Up set. The image was stamped in Archival ink onto a water colour card stock base, and it has then been coloured with Spectrum Noir Aquablend water colour pencils. This is the first time I have ever used these, but think they will become a new favourite, as they were so easy to use.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Crafting From The Heart - anything goes
The Crazy Challenge - R is for Robot
Great Impressions - anything goes
Craft For The Craic - something masculine
and
That's Crafty - masculine
I hope you like my little creation, and I would love you to become a follower if you have time, or like what you see,
I'll be back soon with some more creations.

Hello Everyone.
Well a fortnight has whizzed by, so it is now time for a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz. This time round the challenge is 'Pink and Brown'.

I have coloured her skin and hair with ProMarkers, and paper pieced her outfit. The background has been run through a snowflake embossing folder to add some texture. The corners are cut using a Memory Box die, and the whole card was finished with the addition of some pearls.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;

Summer Fun

Hello Again
Today sees the start of the latest challenge over at Cardz 4 Galz. This time round, we would like to see your 'Summer Fun' creations.

The image has been created with a very old Stampin' Up roller stamp, which has been coloured with ProMarkers. I have added a second, decoupaged layer to add some depth to the flowers, I love the clean and simple overall effect of this card, and it reminds me of those happy summer days.

Man's Best Friend

Hello Everyone
Here I am again with my next DT card for Cardz 4 Guyz. This week we would like to see your 'Man's Best Friend' male orientated creations.
This was quite tricky for me, as I  must admit  I am much more of a cat person than a dog person.
I looked through my stamp collection, and was struggling to find any that fitted the theme and inspired me, so instead I thought I'd do a punch art creation, inspired from Pintrest.
All the stamps used are from Stampin' Up, and I have used a stamp from the Glorious Grunge set to add the spots. I hope you like my little doggie, and he inspires you to join in the main challenge.
I would like to enter my creation in the following challenges;

Hello All
Well it's a very busy week this week - my youngest son turned 13 at the weekend, and my eldest is 18 on Wednesday, so it's all been a bit hectic at the ranch.
Hence I have done a very quick card for this weeks challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz, where we would like to see your 'Dig It' themed cards. This could be gardening or 60's/70's dig it saying or digging for treasure or however you wish to interrupt it.
I have used a very old DoCrafts backing sheet for my card, with some PaperNation decoupage and a simply sentiment to finish. Considering how quick this card was to make, I was quite pleased with the outcome.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Creative Card Crew - anything goes

Our Crafty Corner - anything goes
Amusing - anything goes
