Recipe Time

Afternoon All.
This post is a bit on the late side - sorry, but not having such a good day today. I've lost the feeling in my hand and arm (due to on going lung problem), so consequently keep dropping things and knocking them over as I think I've got hold, then I haven't aarrrggghhh. It was amusing in my class though up to the point where I managed to drop a drink all over the table - fortunately I did miss all the ladies cards. I think they spent more time picking up things I dropped when trying to pass them to people than they did making cards.
Anyhow, enough of my grumbles. Today's card is following the new recipe challenge of 3 squares, 2 ribbons and a circle at CRAFT this week. This week we are lucky enough to have two sponsors. Our first sponsor is Fantastic Ribbons, who are offering 4 rolls of the winners choice of ribbon from their site worth £8. Our second sponsor this week is Bows and Berries Digital Stamps, who are offering 3 digital images of choice from their shop to our second winner this week. So it's got to be worth joining in.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Crafting When We Can - anything goes
Catch The Bug - punches or dies
Di's Digi Designs - anything goes
Make It Colorful - colour with purple
and
Crafty Catz - ribbons
Thanks for looking and I'll see you all again soon.

Two Lots Of Exciting News

Morning All.

Well Hubby home, and on the mend, if walking a little like John Wayne. My youngest says he looks like Henry VIII as he has a big puffy dressing gown on, and really sexy surgical stockings - hope that image doesn't ruin your day.

Anyhow I have lots of exciting bloggy news for you today.

Firstly, I'm lucky enough to have been invited to join the CRAFT design team permanently - I have done a couple of guest designer months but am now a full time member - whoopeeee!!!!!

So today's card is my first official challenge with them. It was a nice easy sketch to ease me in, so please hop on over to join in the fun.

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;Crafty Creations - punch/die cut

Embossing With A Difference 2

Morning All.

I can't believe how fast the weeks are flying by, it will be September tomorrow - where did summer go. Apologises also for my lack of blogging, but what with the children being off, and a hubby with a hernia driving me potty crafting has taken a bit of a back seat. Anyway he's in hospital today being dealt with, the kids are back at school Monday and Wednesday so hopefully normal will return soon.

Wednesday means the new challenge starts at Fab 'n' Funky, and this week we would like to see loads of embossing. I have borrowed a lovely Cuttlebug folder from my friend Cally, to create my simple Christmas card. I have sewn beads to the embossed dots where the 'snow' was faling, glamour dusted the other raised areas, a bit of matting and layering, and Bobs your uncle a quick and simple card.

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;

Creative Card Crew - anything goes

Partytime Tuesday - anything goes

Ooh La La Creations - no backing papers

One Stop Crafts - anything but a square

Crafts For Eternity - Christmas theme

and

Charisma Cardz - glitter it

Thanks for looking, and I'll see you tomorrow.
