Under The Weather

Hello
It's time for another new challenge at Cardz For Guyz, and this time we would like to see your male orientated creations with a 'Feel Better Soon' theme.
I have used a decoupage sheet and backing paper from the La Pashe CD, Wrinkles at the Movies for my card, and then have printed the sentiment and cut it out with the tree builder punch from Stampin Up, to give the rain cloud shape.
I hope you will pop on over to the main blog and check out the other DT cards, or better still, why not join in the fun, as we would love to see your creations.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Papertake Weekly - anything goes
Retarte - anything goes
Try It On Tuesday - lots of layers
Crafting From The Heart - anything goes
Craft Your Passion - anything goes
Incy Wincy - anything goes
4 Crafty Chicks - anything goes
and

Thanks for stopping by and I'll be back soon with another card.

A Vase Of Flowers

Hello Again
Today I'm back with my DT card for the new challenge at Cardz For Galz. This week we would like to see your 'Button and Bows' girly creations.
Another CAS design today, it seems to be my favorite style at the moment. The vase stamp is a very old Stampin Up stamp, that I have stamped in green in minus the flowers, that I have replaced with decorative buttons. I have hand sewn the buttons onto the card, before adding a co-ordinating bow and matting and layering with matching colours.
I hope this will inspire you to hop on over to the main blog, see the other DT creations and join in the fun.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Crafty Gals Corner - anything goes
Retarte - anything goes
Artistic Inspirations - anything goes birthday
Craft-Dee BowZ - anything goes with a handmade bow
Muse - case Muse's card
Dragonfly and Dreams - ribbons and bows
and
Alphabet - R is for ribbon
Thanks once again for stopping by, and I'll be back soon with some more creations.

Gardener Jim

Hello
Today's creation is for the new challenge over at Penny's Paper Crafty, and this time round we have a lovely easy 'Anything Goes' challenge.
Our sponsors this week are Dr Digi and Karleigh Sue. I was lucky enough to be given a Dr Digi image to play with. I am going through a CAS phase at the moment, so I choose to colour just parts of the image with my ProMarkers, which I cut out, shaped and remounted onto another copy of the image. This made the adorable gardener 'pop' from the card - I really like this technique, and hope you do too.
Please hop on over to the main blog and check out the other DT creations, and join in the fun.
I would like to enter my card in the following challenges;
Shopping Our Stash - go paperless
Crafting From The Heart - anything goes
Love To Scrap - anything goes
Whoopsi Daisy - hand coloured image
Brown Sugar - anything goes
and
Crafting With Friends - anything goes
I'll be back again soon, with another creation.

Mummy's Mummy

Hello
It's time for another new challenge at Cardz For Guyz (love this blog), and this time we would like to see your male orientated 'I Put A Spell On You' Halloween creations.
I had great fun making this card. The background was made using a Darice embossing folder. Once embossed, I ran a black pad over the raised areas to highlight the eyes, then I have used a purple ProMarker to colour in between. I have coloured the Mummy image, then cut it out and mounted it on foam pads to bring it forward. The card was finished with a sentiment and some googly eyes.
I hope you like my little creation.
I would like to enter it in the following challenges;
Passion For ProMarkers - lots of layers
Artistic Inspirations - anything goes with a twist of Halloween
Cards In Envy - trick or treat

and
Thanks for stopping by, and I'll see you again really soon.
