A Little Birdie Told Me

Morning All.
I thought I'd share another one of the mens cards my lovely ladies made in the class on Thursday. I fooled them this time round, as normally the cards appear on my blog before the class, but this time round they didn't know what they were making until they got here, mainly because I hadn't had much time to blog.
Anyhow, the image and sentiment are both from a Creative Expressions set, and seemed so appropriate for one of those awkward mens cards.
I'd like to enter it in the following challenges;
Paper Sundaes - distressing
Critter Sketch - distressing + circle
Creative Inspirations - buttons and bows
Stamp With Fun - blue and brown
OLLCB - 3 of a kind
Simon Says - animal antics
Paper Play - layer it up
Frosted Designs - monochromatic
Delicious Doodles - spots or stripes
and
Alphabet Challenge - M is for men
Thanks for looking, and I hope you have a good weekend.

Builder AJ

Morning All.
It's definitely another one of those weeks, small child still off school, plasterer still plastering - he managed to kill the whole of the electrics yesterday for an hour and a half, but I'm sure he knows what he's doing really !!!!! So things here are a bit behind schedule - but hey what's new there.
Well, it's Wednesday morning again, so time for the next challenge over at Fab 'n' Funky. This time we would like you to use a digi image on your projects. Our lovely sponsor is The Stamping Boutique, and I have used Builder AJ, from their shop. My friend Lynne, over at Sentiments 4 You, designed my digi sentiment for me - thank you Lynne. Why not pop over and take a look. The papers came from my stash, and the embossed panel was made using one of the new Crafts Too embossing folders. Finally the drill charm came from my shop, where I stock over a 100 different style of charms, amongst other crafting goodies.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges;
Praire Fairy - happy birthday
Allsorts - male / boy
OSAAT - as you like it
and
My Time To Craft - emboss, emboss, emboss
Thanks for looking, and I hope you will come on over and join in the fun.

Oh Baby

Evening All.
Well, I think it's going to be another one of those weeks lol. Small person is off school with a tummy bug, the plasterer has turned up to sort out the utility room, the phone keeps ringing and the doorbell keeps going and I just don't seem to be getting anywhere. I have given up on the housework as, as fast as I cleaned the dust just seemed to keep flying from the utility room - I'm not really moaning as it will be well worth it when its finished. So instead I have been fiddling with my next DT card for Fab 'n' Funky Challenge, but I can't share that with you until the beginning of the next challenge on Wednesday. So instead I thought I'd share this baby girl card that I made yesterday.
I'd like to say a huge Thank You to Eirwen for loaning me the stamp, and Lorraine for dropping it round to me. Thanks Ladies xx
The image has been coloured with promarkers, and the backing papers are all from Craft Creations. I have used glamour dust to glitter and sparkle all the edges. The safety pin charm is from my own shop.
I'd like to enter it into the following challenges;
Creative Craft Challenge - monochrome madness
Crafts and Me - monochrome
Papercutz - anything goes
The Crafty Pad - something girly
I Did It Creations - card for a child
Lets Ink It Up - anything goes - no digis
and
Craft Your Passion - use 2 design papers
Thanks for looking.

Well, I have finally managed to get round to blogging my third card for my Cute and Cuddly class on Tuesday. I hope you think it was worth the wait. I have used a Penny Black stamp, that I bought just before Christmas, which simply makes me smile, and have kept all the colours very muted with some of the new Craft Creations papers. and

Oh Why Did I Start This ?

Afternoon All.
I was still sorting my decoupage when I came across this fairy with a snowdrop, and I thought it would be fabulous for the challenge at Daring Cardmakers. So I started cutting, but boy oh boy, I didn't think it would take me as long as it did. 3 and a bit hours later, I finally started to assemble the layers, but I think it was worth it in the end. I am only sorry the colours in the photo are not very good, which I think is because I used pearlised card, so all I keep getting is reflected light.
Anyhow I hope you like the finished project, which I would like to enter into the following challenges;
Daring Cardmakers - snowdrops or carnations
My Time To Craft - up in the air (I hope a fairy counts)
Secret Crafter - tons of texture
and
Craft Your Days Away - anything goes
Thanks For looking.

Another Wedding

Afternoon Everyone.
Well, what a lovely wet day it is here in Burnham, basically it's down right miserable, so there seemed nothing better to do than a bit of crafting - far more exciting than the heap of ironing I'm supposed to be doing.
My New Years resolution this year was to use up some of my older craft supplies, rather than keep buying new, (how long can you see that one last!!!!!). So I have started to sort out my decoupage sheets to try and get them in some sort of order, and try and use some of this old stash up. I think if I spent the rest of my life cutting out these sheets, I don't think I'd finish, as I seem to have 100's and 100's of them - which is fine as long as hubby doesn't find out, hee hee.
So I have made another wedding card today, using a whole 3rd of a decoupage sheet - think this could take some time. But especially for Cally, I haven't used any pink on it ;o) xx
I'd like to enter it into the following challenges;
3D Cards - anything goes
The Pixie Cottage - sketch and/or punches
and
Creative Craft World - anything goes (card)
Thanks for looking.
Hugs Sharon xx
