Koi Carp

Hello Everyone.
I'm running a bit late today, as I've been out to a fab card class this morning, then I've gained lots of extra children after school - not sure how that happened, but the house has turned completely chaotic. It's a good job I have blogland to escape to.
Anyhow its time for another challenge over at Fab 'n' Funky, and this week it's...........

No DP

This was a bit of a toughie for me, as I hadn't realised how much I have come to rely on papers. The card I finally came up with is ready for my Uncle's birthday on Sunday, as he keeps Koi. The image was made by passing a Dream Weaver stencil through my Cuttlebug to emboss the image, then I chalked through the stencil to colour it in. It was then simply matted and layered using red and black to add to the oriental feel. The card was completed with the addition of a Chinese coin (from my shop). I hope he will like it :o)
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges;
Crafts 4 Eternity - anything goesAllsorts - oriental
OSAAT - emboss it
Cupcake Crafts - beginning with C (Chinese style)
Polly Craft Monday - anything goes
The Crazy Challenge - cards for men
Craft Your Passion - anything goes
My Time To Craft - red and white
Papertake Weekly - anything goes
The Pixie Cottage - one for the boys and/or sketch
and
Thanks for looking.
