Pastel Patchwork

Morning All.

It's a bit of a sad post today, as this is my last card as a guest designer for CRAFT - it has been really good fun playing along with their challenges - Thanks Folks.

Anyhow, todays challenge is sponsored by those lovely people over at Craft Obsessions. Why not check out their shop as they have some fab goodies.

The challenge this time round is a Colour Aschelon, and I must admit it did throw me for a while, but then whilst on a rather long phone call to my sister, it all came together. I even managed to machine zig zag all the ptchwork pieces without dropping the phone :o)

The paper patchwork on this card all came from my scrap box, and are various different brands. The image is one of my favorites digis from Meljen's. I hope you will come and play along.
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges;
Totally Papercrafts - do it with digi's
Totally Gorjuss - check it out
Alphabet Challenge - P is for paper piecing (not sure if my patchwork counts)
CES - spots and stripes
Stampavie - welcome
and
Thanks for looking, and I'll be back soon.

Another First

Hello again.
Well it's another first from me today. The new challenge at CRAFT is 'Anything But A Card', and I must admit I was a bit stumped as to what to do. Then my friend Lynne suggested doing a door hanger - thanks Hunni - and so that's what I tried - I hope you like my first effort.
The challenge is being sponsored by Toucan Scraps, who have some fab digi's on offer, so why not pop on over and check them out.
The chipboard blank for my door hanger came from Die Cut Dreams, and I have covered it with football paper (sorry not sure of the make of that one). The grass has been cut using a good old Martha Stewart punch. Finally the image is a Di's Digi Download, which just sooooo reminded me of my youngest son (apart from, I can't see him cuddling the puppy, as he's a tad scared of dogs).
Why not give a door hanger a go, it was great fun for a change.
I'd like to enter this into
A Spoonful of Sugar challenge - anything but a card
and
Our Creative Corner - cut it out
Thanks for looking.
Hugs Sharon xx

CRAFT Challenge GDT Member

What an exciting day it is today, I can finally tell everyone that I have been invited to be the Guest Designer for February at the C.R.A.F.T. challenge blog. I'd like to thank all the ladies there for inviting me to join them for the month - Thank You xx.

Their challenge this time is called...............In the Roll of a Die.

They would like to see you use die cuts on your creations. The sponsor for this challenge is Diecut Dreams, who are offering a "50 piece Valentines Die cut Cupcake kit, cut in yummy Romantic Red, Hot Candy Pink and Pure White quality card," as the prize.

I have used one of my favorite LOTV stamps on my GDT card. Then the image has been cut out using a Quickutz cookie cutter, before being mounted on a scallop circle, which was cut using my beloved nestabilities. The flourishes were cut using the Marianne D Creatables swirl, leaf die. Finally, the flowers were made using a new purchase - a Crealies Creative Flowers cutting die, which I have layered together to give a fuller effect.
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges;
Crafty Catz - flowers
Totally Paper Crafts - one for the kiddies (how many of us have dressed up in Mums high heels)
Totally Gorjuss - as you like it
My Time To Craft - flourishes
and
Papertake Weekly - anything goes + flower
I hope you like the card, and that you will pop on over to CRAFT, and join in the die cutting challenge.
Thanks for looking,
Sharon x
